In 2015, Vince Conrad embarked on a solo project to record and release a number of early punk rock songs he wrote and performed in the 1980's, but which were never recorded. This EP, simply entitled, "Vince Conrad" contains six songs which were never released prior to 2015. All of the songs are classic first generation punk rock. Vince performed "Alimentary Fantasies" "Bimbo" and "Sticky People" with American Bad Taste in 1980. During 1983, while playing with the Hungry Buzzards, Vince wrote "Can I Be You" and "Blank Samaritan." In 1984, Vince and the Hungry Buzzards performed Blank Samaritan, during shows in Los Angeles. Although written in 1984, "Kick the Dog" was never performed live.

In 2015, Vince discovered several tapes containing these early punk rock songs, which were originally recorded in the early 1980's on a cassette tape with only an acoustic guitar and a vocal track. Vince decided to record an EP containing these early songs using modern recording equipment and release them as a solo project to the general public.

One can truly hear the early origins of punk rock music from the 1970's and early 1980's in all six of these songs' sound, content and style. These songs blast out of the speakers with a satirical attitude and nihilistic perspective that permeated early American punk rock music. This music is a great find for punk rock enthusiasts and valley girls say, "it rawks!"
